Our Qualifications

David B. Magayna, a Certified Financial Planner™ practitioner and president of Gemini Financial Services, Inc., has been working in financial services since July 2002.

Mr. Magayna received his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management from the University of Maryland in 1997. He completed the CFP® Certification Curriculum through The American College in January 2006 and was certified by the CFP Board to begin using the CFP marks in May 2006.  He also holds an Associate degree in Applied Computer and Electronic Technologies from Electronic Institutes in Pittsburgh, PA earned in 1972.

For over twenty-five years, Mr. Magayna had worked in various management level positions in the information technology field.helping to structure complex services projects for many of today's top companies.

Mr. Magayna is a member of the Financial Planning Association. He is vice-president of the West Anne Arundel County Rotary Club, a Board member of the West Anne Arundel County Chamber of Commerce, chairperson of the Chamber Education Committee, a member of the Chamber Legislative Committee and a member of the Arundel High School Business Advisory Board.

He has been quoted in MorningstarAdvisor and the Capital newspaper of Annapolis, MD on financial topics.
